Ibinahagi ni ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo na si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang dahilan kaya’t tatakbo siya bilang senador sa 2025 midterm elections.
Sa isang press conference nitong Huwebes, Setyembre 26, sinabi ni Tulfo na nagdesisyon siyang kumandidato dahil kinausap daw siya ni Marcos na maging bahagi ng senatorial slate ng administrasyon sa ilalim ng Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas banner.
"Eh hindi naman ako makasabi ng 'hindi.' I mean, I have known the President for quite a while," ani Tulfo.
"Kaya sabi ko, 'Yes, sure Mr. President. I will join the line-up of the administration’s bets for the Senate come 2025.' ‘Yun ang sinabi ko," dagdag.

Kaugnay nito, pinasalamatan ni Tulfo sa tiwalang ibinigay sa kaniya ng pangulo.
"I would like to thank the President dun the trust pa rin, and confidence na makatulong ako sa administrasyon nila and together with the 11 other candidates na pinili nila na he believes na makakatulong sa administrasyon na ito," saad ni Tulfo.
Matatandaang nitong Huwebes, Setyembre 26, nang pangalanan ni Marcos ang kaniyang susuportahang 12 senatorial slate.
Bukod kay Tulfo, kasama sa 12 slate ng administrasyon sina Senador Lito Lapid, Senador Bong Revilla, Senador Pia Cayetano, Senador Francis Tolentino, Senador Imee Marcos, dating Senate President Tito Sotto III, dating Senador Ping Lacson, dating Senador Manny Pacquiao, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Las Piñas City, Lone District Rep. Camille Villar, at Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos.
