Nagbabala ang Department of Justice (DOJ) hinggil sa isang pekeng social media account na nagpapanggap na opisyal na account ng Office of Cybercrime (OCC) nito.
Sa isang pahayag, binanggit ng DOJ ang pekeng Facebook account na:

Ayon sa DOJ-OOC, iniimbestigahan na nila ang nangyari at magsasagawa raw ng karampatang aksyon laban sa mga responsable sa pekeng social media account.

“We assure the public that the Office is actively investigating this matter and that appropriate charges will be filed against the individuals responsible,” anang DOJ-OOC.
“[Do] not to engage with the fraudulent page and to report any incidents immediately to the Department of Justice - Office of Cybercrime (DOJ-OOC) if you or someone you know has been affected.”
“Please remain vigilant and always verify information from official sources,” saad pa nito.
