Na-touch daw si Doc Willie Ong sa "sincere message" na ipinadala sa kaniya ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Ibinahagi ni Ong ang mensahe ng bise presidente sa kaniyang Facebook account nitong Miyerkules, Setyembre 18.
May petsang Setyembre 16, narito ang mensahe ni Duterte:
Maza kay VP Sara: 'Hindi ikaw ang bida dito kundi ang taumbayang kinauutangan mo!'
"I extend my heartfelt support and wish you a speedy and complete recovery. Your courage and optimism deeply moved us all as you shared your diagnosis and ongoing battle with sarcoma. Your strength and positive outlook in such adversity are genuinely inspiring.
"We continue to admire your dedication to promoting health and wellness, which has touched countless lives. Your current journey is a testament to the same spirit of perseverance and hope you have always advocated. My mother, Elizabeth, watches you on YouTube and prays for mercy and healing. We stand with you in solidarity during this period. May God bless you and your family."
Nagpasalamat naman si Ong sa mensahe ni Duterte.
"Thank you for the kind words VP Sara. I don't know why but I am touched by your sincere message. I wish for peace and harmony to reign in the Philippines. So much work to do for our poor people," aniya.
"I will help when I am stronger. God bless you and everyone in government," dagdag pa niya.
Bukod dito, pinasalamatan din ni Ong ang ina ng bise presidente para sa panalangin nito.
Sa huling bahagi ng post, nilinaw ni Ong na nagpadala rin ng feelers si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos.
"PBBM has sent feelers already this morning through Cesar Chavez. Let us find ways to unite. Huwag na tayo mag-away please. Salamat po. Peace to all," ani Ong.
Matatandaang nakalaban ni Ong si Duterte sa pagka-bise presidente noong Eleksyon 2022.
