Tatlong lugar sa Bohol at Zamboanga del Sur ang nagpositibo sa red tide, ayon sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR).

Sa abiso ng BFAR, kabilang sa apektado ng toxic red tide o paralytic shellfish poison (PSP) ang coastal waters ng Dauis at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol, at Dumanquillas Bay sa Zamboanga del Sur.
"All type of shellfish and Acetes sp. or Alamang gathered from the areas shown above are NOT SAFE for human consumption," anang BFAR.
"Fish, squids, shrimps, and crabs are SAFE for human consumption provided that they are fresh and washed thoroughly, and internal organs such as gills and intestines are removed before cooking," babala ng ahensya.
Dahil dito, binalaan ng BFAR ang publiko na bawal pa ring humango, magbenta at kumain ng tahong at iba pang uri ng shellfish para na rin sa kanilang kaligtasan.
