Nagpatupad na ng price freeze sa mga pangunahing bilihin sa Albay sa gitna ng pag-aalburoto ng Bulkang Mayon.
Ito ang naging hakbang ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) matapos isailalim sa state of calamity ang lalawigan kamakailan.
Paglilinaw ng ahensya, mismong si DTI Secretary Alfredo Pascual ang naglabas ng kautusan.
"Through DTI's provincial office in Albay, I have ordered a price freeze for BNPCs today. Business establishments are directed to comply to this, otherwise, we will impose necessary penalties. We want to ensure that our affected kababayan in Albay will have access to affordable and reasonably-priced commodities especially during disasters like this," pagbibigay-diin ni Pascual.
