Nasa ₱150 milyong halaga ng umano'y puslit na agricultural products ang nadiskubre sa anim na cold storage facility sa Metro Manila kamakailan.
Kabilang sa nasabing produkto ang frozen meat at mga sariwang prutas na nakatago sa anim na pasilidad sa Caloocan, Navotas at Manila City.
Ayon sa Bureau of Customs (BOC), isinagawa ng Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service-Manila International Container Port (CIIS-MICP), Enforcement and Security Service-MICP (ESS-MICP), at ESS-Quick Reaction Team (ESS-QRT) ang operasyon nitong Abril 12.
Gayunman, isinapubliko lamang ito ng ahensya nitong Lunes.

“Right now, our team is a well-oiled machine running after these smuggling groups. The operations yesterday showed how our officers work day and night to make sure these products will not make it to our local markets,” sabi naman ni BOC Commissioner Bien Rubio.
Inatasan din ng BOC ang may-ari ng ng anim na cold storage facility na magharap ng importation documents o proof of payment.
Kaagad na kukumpiskahin ang mga produkto sakaling hindi sila makasunod sa kautusan.
