Lakas-loob na ibinahagi ng aktres at "Eat Bulaga" host na si Miles Ocampo ang kaniyang pinagdaanan patungkol sa kaniyang health issue, at ang dahilan kung bakit may tapal ang kaniyang leeg gayundin ang kaniyang weight gain.
Ayon sa kaniyang Instagram post nitong Biyernes, Abril 14, ang kaniyang kondisyon ay tinatawag na " Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma." Sumailalim siya sa operasyon at tinanggal ang kaniyang thyroid glands.
"I used to be scared of hospitals.." ayon sa IG post ni Miles.
Idinetalye ni Miles ang kaniyang mga naranasan noong hindi pa niya alam kung ano ang nangyayari sa kaniya. Noong 2022 pa pala niya nararamdamang may kakaiba sa kaniya.

"But since late last year I haven’t felt my normal self. Waking up in the middle of the night cause I can’t breathe, I get tired so easily, sooooo frustrated with my weight gain, para akong palaging hapong-hapo and sinasakal… then finally I had the courage to have it checked… for someone who’s afraid of needles I feel like it was an endless blood tests, ultrasound to biopsy, then the decision to remove it ASAP… we found out it was Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma. Pinasalamatan ni Miles ang mga doktor, mga kaibigan, at mga malalapit na tao sa kaniya.

Pakiusap din ni Miles sa madlang Dabarkads, "With or without any health conditions, no to body shaming. Be kind. always. please."
Kamakailan ay nag-guest din si Miles sa "Magandang Buhay" at dito niya unang ibinahagi ang kaniyang mga pinagdaanan.
Ito rin pala ang dahilan kung bakit hindi na siya napagkikita sa sitcom ni John Lloyd Cruz na "Happy ToGetHer" sa GMA Network.
