Nanawagan sa mga turista ang Baguio City government na sundin pa rin ang minimum public health standards laban sa coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). 

“We still have the pandemic so we still have to be conscious of our protocols –wearing of masks, especially in congested areas, indoors and at the same time, we want you to enjoy,” pahayag ni Baguio Mayor Benjamin Magalong.

Kahit aniya nasa low-risk category ng Covid-19 ang lungsod, dumadagsa pa rin ang mga turista. “We would like to remind our constituents, this will be a busy holiday season, especially since a lot of tourists will be in Baguio na gustong makita ang Baguio habang pinapaganda natin ang ating siyudad," aniya.

Sa huling datos ng city tourism office, nasa 25,000 hanggang 40,000 turista ang bumibisita sa siyudad kada linggo kaya nangangamba si Magalong sa banta ng Covid-19.

“We're creating a better Baguio so expect our tourists, the traffic, expect convergence in our malls, the market and also crowding,” banggit pa ng alkalde.
