Ang Maharlika Investment Funds ay naglalayong ma-maximize ang state assets o government revenue upang gawing “sovereign wealth fund," sa pamamagitan ng pag-invest dito sa iba’t ibang real at financial assets.
Ang naturang bill ay suportado naman ng mga kaanak ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. gaya nina House Speaker Martin Romualdez (Leyte, First District), misis niyang si Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez ng Tingog Sinirangan, at Ilocos 1st District Rep. Sandro Marcos.
