Mayor Lacuna: Payout sa 203K seniors, malapit nang matapos

Sa isang Facebook post, binati at pinasalamatan ni Biazon ang PDEA.

"We congratulate and thank the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency for the successful anti-drug operations they conducted in one of the exclusive, private and most secured residential subdivisions in our city," ani Biazon.

"The City Government of Muntinlupa has always welcomed with full cooperation the efforts and operations of the national government’s anti-drugs enforcement agencies. We have also consistently implemented supply- and demand-reduction strategies to protect Muntinlupeños against illegal drugs, recently affirmed by the DILG when our (DAPCO) was hailed as Highly Functional.

"This raid on a clandestine shabu lab right inside a supposedly serene and safe residential subdivision should be a wake-up call to its residents and community leaders that danger lurks within the confines of their community.

"This is not the first time it has happened and if they don’t heighten their vigilance and take proactive measures to guard the subdivision against drug traffickers, it will happen again. We encourage them to know their neighbors and be open to cooperate with authorities.

"We call on property owners and managers to ensure that their properties are not utilized for illegal purposes. At this time, each and every rented or vacant property should be checked and profiled to rule out its use by criminal elements.

"The safety and security of communities is the mission and duty of our law enforcement units. But it will take a whole-of-city approach to beat illegal drugs," paglalahad ng alkalde.
