Nagpakita ng suporta at pagmamahal ang aktres na si Marjorie Barretto sa anak na si Julia Barretto sa kabila ng mga usapin tungkol sa dalaga.

Sa isang Instagram post nitong Lunes, Setyembre 19, ipinost niya ang larawan ng kanyang anak at nagsulat ito ng encouraging words para rito.

"Dearest Jul, I LOVE you with the kind of love that you can trust. Love that you can depend on, and the kind that will protect you and never betray you," sey ni Marjorie.

"Maybe you need to hear this today… I am so proud of you, Juli. I am so blessed to be able to call you my child. Here we go again, back in our family bubble shutting off the noise outside.

"Only choosing to be grateful for the good things that is in front of us. Remember Jul, God is all knowing."

Kamakailan inamin ni Juliasa kanyang panayam sa batikang mamamahayag na si Karen Davila, na hindi pa siya handang patawarin ang ama.

“I think it’s not difficult for us to forgive. But it’s difficult to really just… It’s not the forgiveness, it’s to forget. It’s also just, there’s a lot of fear because I don’t know what’s gonna happen. But forgiveness, of course, definitely. That’s for my own peace of mind, ‘di ba? Hindi ko ipagkakait ang forgiveness but I’m just not that ready. There’s just been so much pain over the years since I was young. So parang I got tired of the same thing.”

“I just need more love from him. More love, more protection. I just feel like he should be my number one protector and that’s not really what I’m getting right now from him. So it does hurt because dapat siya yung tinatakbuhan ko, di ba? But it is sad that I can’t. So I pray for it,” saad pa ni Julia. “Like God, can you forgive me even if… like right now hindi pa okay lahat?”

“Ang buong bahay ko… ang halaga katumbas lang ng isang kotse mo Julia… ano pang revenge ang gusto n’yong gawin? Lahat ng blessings nasa inyo na… humingi ako ng apology sa mga pagkukulang ko… ano pa gusto n’yo?…. pati kay Gerald (Anderson) humingi ako ng apology… ano pa?”
