Sa wakas ay naging bukas na rin ang aktor na si Diego Loyzaga kung bakit nga ba sila naghiwalay ng kaniyang ex-jowang si Barbie Imperial.

Pag-amin ni Diego, hindi na raw 'healthy' ang mga nangyayari sa kanilang relasyon noon. Matatandaang puro intriga ang dumapo sa kanila hanggang sa kahuli-hulihan.
"Ang dami nang pangyayari. Every time it (hindi pagkakaintindihan) would happen, we would check each other out in the relationship and be, like, ‘Are we sure we still want this? Are we sure we’re still in the right track?'" aniya.

“When we reached the point bandang December, we reassessed and we were parang we’re not helping each other grow anymore," dagdag pa ng aktor.

Naungkat din ang napabalitang pagkikita nila noong Marso 2022 sa isang restaurant. Hindi naman ito pinabulaanan ni Diego. Talagang nagkita raw sila 'to patch up things', kaya lang, hindi na raw talaga puwede.
Isa pa umano sa mga dahilan ng kanilang hiwalayan ay ang 'competition'.
“May feeling na may competition, in a way, because we’re both artists, and as our industry is, it’s unspoken. Pero there’s always some sort of underlying competition in everything that we do."
“And I don’t think that was healthy. I think that attributed to the reasons why we would fight, why we wouldn’t understand each other, or see things eye to eye."
“It’s not really because we got jealous of one another. It was more of this is not a healthy relationship. As much as we love each other, things aren’t going the way that they should be,” paliwanag pa ni Diego.
