Gretchen Fullido: "Rest In Peace dearest 'Papa B' Boyet Javelona Sison. Papa B passed away today (April 16, 2022). We will miss a dear friend & colleague terribly."
Karen Davila: "What a shock @gretsfullido, be with Christ our dear Boyet."
Migs Bustos: Salamat sa lahat ng alaala, especially noong nagsisimula pa lang ako sa aking broadcast career. Isa sa mga media personalities na kilala at alam kong walang masamang tinapay sa kahit sino. Rest in power, @BoyetJSison. God is with you."
Jeff Canoy: "Don’t worry Papa B. We’ll keep on dancing for you. Thank you for teaching us how to move with kindness in the cruel dancefloor that is life. Will miss getting your messages during the morning show. Just like your loud, hearty laugh — you’re one of a kind. Rest well."
Ariel Rojas: "On my launch on TV Patrol, Papa B dropped by my desk twice that week to offer encouragement and share pieces of advice, with Odette and all the pressure. Every T-Th, he’s always the first anchor in the dressing room, filling it with his random stories & hearty laugh. For all the times he offered me chicharon, I’m glad that I have obliged at least once. Honored to have known him even for just a little while. Will keep in mind all his speech, styling, grooming, & travel tips. Sadly, di na matutuloy ang museum trip at pinag-usapang one (or two or three) for the road. Rest in God’s peace, Boyet Sison."
Bill Velasco: "My life will never be the same without you, my brother, my comrade, my friend. Throughout all the battles we fought - even with one another - you remained kind. You still saw the good in everyone, Boyet. I will miss that most of all. Rest in God’s embrace; revel in His resurrection, dear one. You take my heart with you."
Atty. Ed Tolentino: "Rest in Peace, Boyet Sison. Hard to forget that voice. You never ran out of words to say and your energy seemed boundless. But even harder to forget is the genuine friendship you offered to just about everyone you worked with. It was an honor to have worked with you. Rest in God's loving arms, my friend."
Jinno Rufino: "Brother, you were always such a positive ray of light, nothing but good vibes for as long as I’ve known you. No matter how bad it got for you, you always made it a point to check up on people, to make sure you were just a phone call away, to let them know that you were there for them. Thank you for always making me realize how blessed I am. Thank you for the friendship. Hit hard and hit strong up there Papa B."
Enzo Flojo: No way, "Papa B" Boyet Javelona Sison. No way. You were one of the most welcoming, accommodating, encouraging, and positive people at ABSCBN/ANC. We always had great stories and laughs before Hardball, Gametime, and Fastbreak. You believed in what I had to offer, and you never failed to tell people that you were confident in them, that you valued them. We lost a great one today. Keep on playing hardball up there, Papa B. Rest in peace and power."
Nissi Icasiano: "I am still at a loss for words. Boyet Javelona Sison is a friend, colleague, and my No. 1 suit outfit critic. To this day, this remains to be my favorite photo with you--my first guesting on ABS-CBN News Channel's Hard Ball in 2018. You were one of few people who welcomed me with open arms in the sports broadcasting industry. I will never forget that. Thank you, DJ B! We're going to miss you."
Noli Eala: "This is a shock. Boyet helped me as my arena voice during my time in the PBA. He was always generous with his time and ideas. Sad to see you go partner. Rest in peace Boyet!"
Rica Lazo: "Been trying to find this vid I have of you dancing coz that's what you will leave in me. Sir Boyet Sison, I will keep you in my heart. Your laughter, lambing, advices, & our shared love for music, wine & food. Hindi ako handa dito. You are loved. You are home. Rest in Paradise Papa B."
Ogie Alcasid: "Boyet. My bro. My heart bleeds now that you are gone. You were one of the good ones. Nakakalungkot bro, nakakalungkot. Nagpapadasal ka pa lang noong isang araw. Pahinga ka na kapatid. Napakatagal na ng ating pagkakaibigan. Will miss bumping into you in the hallways of ABS-CBN. #boyetsison love you bro."
Ibuburol ang mga labi ni Boyet sa Funeraria Paz sa Sucat, Paranaque, hanggang Abril 23. Ike-cremate umano ang kaniyang mga labi.
