"PAALALA"
"Si Inday Sara passed the Bar Exams on her FIRST try and was admitted to the Bar in 2006," saad sa FB post ng abogado, na tagasuporta ng UniTeam, noong Abril 4, 2022."

Pasalamat kayo the UniTeam does not engage in mudslinging and black propaganda.
By the same logic - since I topped the Bar, mas magaling ba ako sa kanya? No, never claimed so, never will," aniya noong Abril 4 din.
"I dislike this idea of hierarchy among lawyers. We all passed the Bar, we are all officers of the court and IBP members in good standing."
"What matters at the end of the day is our integrity and fealty to the rule of law. By the way, Bruce Rivera, why are you comparing VP Leni to Sara eh di naman sila magkalaban?
"Dear Bar takers: please know that whatever the results may be, you have already shown great courage and strength in finishing the arduous test-taking process, despite all the uncertainty and anxiety the pandemic has wrought. If by some twist of fate you do not make it this time, take a pause, a break, then go at it again."
"Just continue fighting for your dreams, and be assured that we, your future compañero/as, will be eagerly awaiting you on the other side. Until then, you remain whole; you remain you."
Bragging rights mo 'yan. And pwede mo gamitin yan when you want to run for President. Still, sad truth remains, why are you triggered sa post ko?"
"You can convince yourself that you are gaining momentum. We will just convince ourselvelves that our candidates are the most qualified. Sa May 9 na lang tayo magsukatan," aniya.
"Last time I checked, VP candidate si Inday Sara at Pres. naman si Leni. So, bakit iniisyu ninyo ang post ko about Sara being a one timer and asking kung ilang beses ang iba? It was directed to the other VP candidates. Stay in your lane. Simplify your issues. Si BBM ang katapat ni Leni. Yes, the one you said na hindi nakatapos sa Oxford at walang diploma."
"So please explain to me why many of you are triggered by a post that was never applicable to your president. Kasi your VP is also a lawyer and perhaps so chances are sa kanya relevant yung question ko. I assure you, huwag ako," dagdag pa niya sa isa pang FB post.
"These are my candidates. Hindi ko sasabihin na matalino or magaling sila kasi it should be a conclusion drawn by the voters as they see from the words and actions of the candidates. I am just presenting their resume on paper. This is what the campaign should be, i.e., showcasing the qualifications of each candidate, answering questions from the voters and presenting their platforms of government."
"There is really no need to point out the shortcomings of the other candidates but showcasing your own without fear of being cancelled out by the insecurity of losers."
"This is the essence of an election campaign. Convincing the electorate of your own light and not dimming the lights of others when it blinds you."
"In the end, we should elect who shines the brightest and not who remains flickering amidst the darkness of mudslinging."
"Kaya marami ang nakarelate kay Madame when she posted that she failed the first take niya because she was facing other challenges like the demands of her family, the fact na taga Bicolandia siya taking the exam in Manila, the difficulty of the Bar review, the daily grind of stressful Manila and so much more."
"Kaya marami ang bumabagsak sa exams not because they are not intelligent but because the pressure of the situation was just too much, kulang sa preparation or minalas at below 50 sa isang subject kaya na DQ. And believe me, mas pursigido ang abogadong bumagsak muna sa exams to be better lawyers, career wise. And real talk, mas magaling sila in the long run. Why? That failure will always be a reminder to always be more than what is expected. And numbers have shown that there a much fewer lawyers na first takers in the roll of attorneys. Not even 15%."
"So, admittedly in the legal profession, it is unbecoming itanong kung ilang beses nagbar kasi it does not follow that when you failed once or twice, you cannot do the job of a lawyer. If I asked my opposing counsel that question, I would stoop that low. But when I am asking a person na tatakbong President or Vice that question, it is a reasonable question."
"When I took the Bar in 2005, it was the most stressful five months of my life starting from review in April to the actual one month of the exams in September. Like Leni, I was also beset by pressure. Nakatira ako sa Sampaloc which was the most difficult place to study, I was morbidly obese because of the bad habits I learned in law school, my major financier experienced a bankruptcy in the US, my alma mater expected me to top the Bar so failing was not even entertained and I was in a relationship that was not inspiring me and was making me feel bad because I got to take the exams ahead of my lover when we entered law school at the same time."
"And the Kakampinks will roll their eyes. Anong pakialam namin? Paawa ka din?"
"But I do not need your sympathy. I simply want to tell you, that everyone taking the Bar has to deal with a great amount of sh*t. Even those who manage to top it. We all take the exams with a lot of challenges and when someone fails, you will genuinely feel bad for that person and wish him or her to pass eventually because it is unimaginable to repeat the process. But everyone who passed the Bar understands when someone fails because the pressure was just too much for that person and it got to him or her."
"Moreover, there is an important quality that a leader MUST possess."
"The ability not to be defeated by pressure."
"The presidency is 6 years of all out pressure because the people will leave the destiny of the nation in your hands. I need a leader who has not buckled under pressure because our nation cannot afford it if they do. That is a convenience we cannot afford. And that is the reason why Inday Sara not failing the Bar exam is something Filipinos should know. It shows her fortitude against adversity and our assurance that she will not just break or crack under intense pressure."
"Will it therefore disqualify someone who failed the Bar before?"
"Of course not. Again, that person may be stronger now or the pressure may not be as difficult to handlde. But I think it is an appropriate question to ask because it will give the electorate this consideration, that is, the ability of a leader not to be defeated by the adversity and challenges of the office. If someone cannot get it together in five months of bar review and he or she fails, it is not the end of the world because he or she can repeat the process until they pass. But there is only ONE take on the Presidency. Once you fail, you cannot repeat it. And that failure will affect not just the ego but the lives of the Filipinos who has to rely on the fortitude of its leaders."
"A failure before will not necessarily mean a failure now. BUT A FAILURE DID HAPPEN. And I prefer a leader who has no track record of failure. Yes, I can hire a lawyer who has failed the Bar because he has passed eventually and slayed the dragon so he can do the job."
"But there is NO second take on the Presidency."
Rivera.
