Robredo camp, 'We certainly do not have 800M pesos to give away to anyone'

Walang ₱800M ang kampo ni Vice President Leni Robredo, ayon kay OVP spokesperson lawyer Barry Gutierrez nitong Biyernes, Marso 25.

Ginawa ni Gutierrez ang pahayag matapos isiwalat ni presidential aspirant Senador Ping Lacson na hinihingan umano siya ng ₱800M para sa karagdagang campaign fund.

"Our campaign thrives on initiative and volunteerism, and we certainly do not have 800M pesos to give away to anyone," ani Gutierrez sa kanyang Twitter account.

"The support for VP Leni's presidential bid is anchored on the hope that she can reform government and bring a better future for all Filipinos," dagdag pa niya.

Nitong Biyernes ng umaga, isiwalat ni Lacson na hinihingan siya ng₱800Mng chief of staff ni Alvarezpara sa karagdagang campaign fund.

“Time to call a spade, a spade. It was actually more about the issue of campaign expenses for their local candidates. His chief of staff was asking for 800 million pesos in additional funding which I honestly told him I cannot produce,” ani Lacson.
