Ibinahagi ni Asia's Phoenix at Kapamilya singer Morisette Amon na nagpositibo sila sa COVID-19 ng fiancé na si Dave Lamar, ngunit unti-unti nang nakaka-recover.
Sa kaniyang Instagram post nitong Enero 16, idinetalye ni Mori ang kalagayan nilang mag-jowa. Aniya, mild lamang ang nagging sintomas niya subalit kinailangan niyang ma-admit sa ospital dahil sa isang kondisyon sa kaniyang colon na tinatawag na 'Diverticulitis'.

"For the past week, I was confined in the hospital since Sunday evening. Both @davejlamar and I tested positive for Covid with mild flu-like symptoms, but I was admitted due to an issue in my colon called Diverticulitis. I had to take several IV medications which unfortunately triggered my super bad headaches then lead to vomiting… I couldn't even eat 'cause I'd just throw it all up."
Nitong weekend ay nadischarge na raw siya kaakibat na kailangan niyang mag-quarantine at magpagaling pa rin sa bahay. Pinasalamatan ni Mori ang kaniyang jowa dahil kahit nadischarge na ito nang mas maaga ay piniling manatili sa hospital room para mabantayan siya.
"This weekend, I was finally discharged with lots of meds to take with and take note but grateful that I'm allowed to continue my quarantine and healing at home. Thank God for DJ who was discharged earlier but stayed in the hospital room with me to keep me company, we would just play Pinoy Henyo ('cause it somewhat didn't require me using a phone that also triggered my migraines) to pass the time."
