Upang malaman ang katotohanan sa pangyayari, magsasagawa ng masusing imbestigasyon ang Commission on Human Rights (CHR) kaugnay sa pagkakapaslang ng isang pulis sa isang 19-anyos na lalaki na umano'y lumabag sa health protocol sa Pampanga kamakailan.

“The Commission on Human Rights is launching a motu proprio investigation into the death of a teenager, who was said to have been shot by a police officer last 20 November following an altercation,” ayon tagapagsalita ng CHR na si Jacqueline Ann de Guia.

Sa ulat ng mga awtoridad, kinilala ang biktimang si Abelardo Vasquez, na nasawi noong Nobyembre 20 nang barilin ni Police Corporal Alvin Pastorin, intel officer ng Pampanga Police Provincial Office.

“Pending the results of the investigation, we continue to urge our law enforcers to always exercise maximum tolerance and patience in dealing with situations of peace and order.Use of excessive force which is unwarranted and not proportional to the violation committed is prohibited by the PNP operational procedures and must be dealt with accordingly,” dagdag pa nito.

Nahaharap na si Pastorin sa kasong homicide at kasalukuyan na itong nakapiit sa Bacolor Municipal Police Station.
