“The City of Taguig will engage establishments and landlords who are found to be violating and abusing the rules on eased restrictions over the weekend,” ani Cayetano sa isang pahayag.

Ayon pa kay Cayetano, “We will check CCTVs, audit customer logs of vaccine cards, check social media postings and other citizens’ reports. We will hold them liable and send our findings to DTI [Department of Trade and Industry], DOT [Department of Tourism], IATF [Inter-Agency Task Force] and other agencies.”

“The rules are clear: follow the capacity set by DTI, check the customers’ vaccination status as mandated by the IATF, make sure customers wear face masks when not in their tables, and ensure that social distancing and placement of barriers, when applicable, are followed,” anang alkalde.

It is irresponsible for certain industries to feel that they do not need regulation, while others are yet to be allowed to operate. Capacitate your staff, control and work with your guests, and learn how to operate safely and responsibly.”

“Otherwise, do not do business in Taguig,” aniya.

“Taguig is a safe city that has aggressively supported the opening up of the economy but we will not shy away to call out those who compromise what has taken us so long to get and who many have sacrificed for. Mask up and follow the rules. We are on the right track but there is still more to do,” dagdag pa ni Cayetano.
