Itinakda na ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) sa Nobyembre 26 ang pagsisimula ng pagdinig sa disqualification case laban sa kandidatura ni dating senador at presidential bet na si Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos.
“I was told by the director of the Office of the Clerk of Commission that when they issued the summons… the preliminary conference was already included. The preliminary conference is scheduled on the 26th of November,” paglilinaw ni Comelec – Education and Information Department (EID) Director Elaiza David nitong Lunes, Nobyembre 15.
Posible rin aniyang ilabas ng Comelec ang desisyon sa usapin ngayong taon,
"There’s the protocol but the commissioners of that division might need more time to resolve.We can’t tell. Hopefully, within the year,” aniya.

Kamakailan, naghain ng petisyon sa Comelec ang ilang grupo upang ipakanselao ibasura ang certificate of candidacy (COC) ni Marcos dahil sa usaping "false material representation" na nag-ugat sa tax evasion case nito noong 1995 kung saan ito na-convict.
Sinabi ng Comelec, matapos mai-raffle ang nasabing petisyon, maglalabas kaagad sila ng summon at ipadadala sa mga inirereklamo na bibigyan naman ng limang araw upang sumagot.
Pagkatapos, magsasagawa ng pre-conference ay bibigyan naman ng tatlong araw ang magkabilang panig upang maghain ng kani-kanilang memoranda bago ituring na submitted for resolution ang usapin.
