"Seeing this photo from 10 years ago brings back sooo many memories. Some good ones, some bad ones and definitely lots of embarrassing ones," aniya.

Aminado si Maxene na noong kabataan niya, naging coping mechanism niya sa mental health condition ang pag-inom ng alak at pagiging 'people pleaser'.
I used to drink and party a lot when I was younger as a way of coping with the symptoms of my mental health condition. I was the biggest people pleaser who did so much for others just because I wanted everyone around me to be happy. I kept doing things to please others and seek their approval even if it meant sacrificing my sense of self and authenticity," aniya.
Gayunman, wala naman umano siyang pinagsisisihan.
"I’ll be honest though—I absolutely have no regrets. I shared some of the best times and craziest memories with some of the best people that I will forever cherish. Looking back and facing my traumas actually help me see my progress and value my practice even more."
