“I can still remember vividly about one month before I pursued my passion. I was in a car driving. And she (mother) told me, ‘anak.’ I really knew that in the tone of her voice that something was up. She told me about breast cancer,” pagbabahagi ni Glyssa, sa idinaos na meet-and-greet event sa Mandaluyong City, nitong Linggo ng gabi.

“I was so devastated because I knew she would be needing chemotheraphy,” kuwento pa ng beauty queen.

“I fell in love with the pageant’s motto ‘Beauty With A Purpose.’ I came back this year because I want to advocate something that’s very close to my heart which is breast cancer awareness.

“ T h e v i s i o n o f t h i s project together with Kasuso is to impart to patients that they don’t have to face breast cancer alone and having the support of others is an important part of breast cancer survivorship,” aniya.
