KABILANG si Sharon Cuneta sa agad nag-post ng kanyang pag-aalala at nanawagan ng dasal para kay Eddie Garcia, na isinugod sa ospital nang mabuwal sa taping ng Rosang Agimat. Nag-post sa Instagram (IG) si Sharon at naikwentong gumanap na daddy niya ang veteran actor sa first movie niya.

“Please, everyone, my prayer warriors, pray with me for my Tito Eddie Garcia. He played my daddy in my first movie and was co-star in several others. He directed my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th movies, and a big part of all I have learned in terms of acting, work ethic, professionalism came from him.

“He is so precious to me. I consider myself very blessed to have been taught and handled by him, and feel bad that as he stopped directing soon after the last movie he directed with me in it, so many new stars have never and will never experience having Mr. Eddie Garcia as a director, mentor and teacher. He is someone I truly love and care for.

“Please help me pray for his full recovery. He has always been health-conscious and disciplined, and if we lose this living legend, it will be the end of an era in all of show business. Thank you so much.”

Maiksi naman ang mensahe ni Gabbi Garcia, makakasama ni Eddie sa Rosang Agimat: “Let’s all pray for Tito Eddie Garcia’s fast recovery.”

Si Janno Gibbs, nag-post naman ng picture nila ni Eddie nang magkasama sa isang pelikula sa Viva Films at ang caption niya, “Pagaling ka Manoy! Mahal kita.”
