Tampok sa dalawang araw na kompetisyon ang pinakamatitikas na footballer mula sa apat na 7s Football Leagues sa bansa, habang gaganapin din ang triple age bracket youth competitions.

“We are based in four different areas right now. These are four key cities in the country and being able to establish 7s Football as the main football league in these cities will be huge,” pahayag ni 7s Football founder at Manila Commissioner Anton Del Rosario.

“And when it comes to that, we want to claim who the best city is in the country. The Kampeon 7s Cup will have all-star selection teams from each of the leagues created from each province to see who’s the best in the country.”

Sa nakalipas na Manila event, nagwagi ang Ghana F.C. sa Super Eagles sa men’s final, habang kampeon ang Outkast F.C. nang manalo sa Stallion-Hiraya sa women’s cup.

Nanig naman sa 7s Football League Bacolod leg nitong Mayo ang Villa Angela F.C. kontra Atletico de Bago F.C., 3-1.

Nanguna sa Villa Angelea sina Finals Most Valuable Player Florence Panongaling, Michael Benedicto at Bon Jovi Amaguiton.

Magsisimula naman ang Davao at Cebu tournaments sa Hunyo.

Bukod kay Del Rosario, target din na maging lider sa liga sina Azkals players Stephan Schrock (Bacolod) at Misagh Bahadoran (Cebu) para mas palakasin ang kampanya ng 7s football sa lalawigan.

“With the expansion, I already requested a group in Laguna and a group up north in Quezon City to set up 7s Football Leagues over there,” sambit ni Del Rosario.
