IKINALUGOD ni dating Azkals star Anton del Rosario ang magandang pagtanggap sa inilunsad na 7-aside football sa bansa.
“I began the league to be able to play competitive amongst friends but the popularity grew and it turned into a demanding league,” pahayag ni Del Rosario. “The support of not just the players but also the fans brought in tons of media support via TV features, broadcasting and of course the support of Manila Bulletin.”
Kabuuang walong koponan ang sumabak sa unang season ng liga at sa ikalawang season, nadagdagan ng dalawang koponan ang lumahok sa torneo. Sa nakalipas na dalawang season, naging kasangga rin ng grupo ni del Rosario ang TV 5.
Sa naturang mga laro, libreng ibinabahagi sa crowd ang Jollibee meals at Krispy Kreme donuts na tumatayong major sponsors ng liga.
Para sa taong 2019, lalarga ang ikatlong season sa Pebrero 3 at ayon kay del Rosario may ilang detalye na babaguhin upang higit na maging kapana-panabik ang torneo.
“First I would like to announce that we have an AMAZING sponsor coming in as the Title Sponsor which we will announce mid-3rd week of January in a Media Launch,” sambit ni Del Rosario.
“Not only that but we will also be televised and have live streaming via TV5. We are also changing our gamedays to Sundays allowing us to deliver a full Football Experience and hopefully have more viewers supporting the teams.“
Isa sa target ng organisasyon sa 2019 ang makapagpasaya ng mas maraming football fans. Bukod sa pagbabago sa araw ng mga laro, dalawang koponan ang inaasahang sasanib sa liga.
“To summarize 2019, you can expect a main title sponsor, Sunday game days, BBQ-ing and tailgating, 12 teams from 10, TV and streaming, more action, more Prizes and fan engagement,” pahayag ni Del Rosario.
“Should all go as planned I will try to bring in an international tournament with teams from different countries coming to the Philippines by year ends,” aniya.
