The Girl in the Orange Dress.
Nag-post din si Luis ng birthday greetings kay Jessy: “Happy birthday to the young lady whose smile never fails to melt me:) may you have your best year ahead as i am truly excited for what is in store for you every step of the way;) i how you!!:).
“Finding Jessy was the most important decision in the film. Who would play that girl I had written down on a piece of paper many years ago and kept hearing talk, watching her move along the scenes, her name would be Ana?
“A lot of names were thrown on the table, over and over and I had chosen Jessy. I will never fully understand what it is about her that kept me stubborn enough to fight for her but gladly, our producer and my staunch fighter to make this film a reality Atty. Joji also thought Jessy was the girl in the orange dress.
“When you fend of everyone into a stubborn decision, mind you, doubts will always creep in, did I make the right decision, was I wrong, was I stubborn, should I have listened to them? We’re human and very flawed.
“But you roll the camera and you see the character you wrote many years ago come to life and all your doubts disappear. She looked perfect. Yep, you know you’ve found the girl in the orange dress. And it is not Ana, it’s Jessy.”
It’s an honor to bring Ana to life!!! This role changed my life. Thank you for the opportunity and believing in me when no one else did!”
