SA Viber group nagbibigay ng updates sa mga kaibigan ang maybahay ni Gary Valenciano na si Angeli na simula nang sumailalim sa open-heart surgery ang una nitong nakaraang Linggo.

“As of today, May 6, at 7:30pm, Gary’s heart surgery was successful. Paolo, Gab, Kiana and I visited him at the coronary recovery room and doctors have said he is doing very well. In behalf of our family, I request for prayers for my husband’s speedy recovery.

“My life. Thank you, Jesus, for your grace. He is in so much pain. I could not help it I broke down after seeing him in so much pain in the recovery room. Yes, God is good, so so good. The surgeon said Gary’s blood vessels are amazingly all so strong. Only ONE was hit by a nasty blockage and it was the left main artery. So, the surgeon said he felt so much pressure because of the man whose heart he was working on... how nakakaiyak. Our warrior Gary V.

“I told the surgeon of course it had to be the most important artery -- the devil doesn’t like Gary so he tried to kill him. Halleluiah but God is food and great! No weapon formed against Gary will prosper. Please pray for his speedy recovery.”

Sa Instagram account naman nag-post si Mr. Pure Energy ng video kahapon ng 12 noon para i-update ang followers niya at nilagyan niya ito ng caption na, “Still some way to go til I get back to tip top shape. To all who have prayed for me I thank you from the bottom of this new heart of mine. God bless you you more. Ok time for me to rest again k?

Ayon pa kay Gary V, “Hi everyone, I’m okay. I’m here in the hospital pa rin, recuperating. I did have a major bypass. But I’m getting better, day by day.

“And one of these days, babalik din ako sa ASAP, babalik din ako sa Your Face Sounds Familiar, and Tawag ng Tanghalan.

“Paminsan-minsan, siguro mag-a-absent pa rin ako just to make sure that I’m in good shape. But the doctors are very satisfied with all how it turned out.

“My heart is actually in very good condition, do’n lang, do’n lang sa isang part na medyo delikado talaga.“But I’m here, I’m okay, I love you all. And I’m thankful that God has given me so many people that have shared their love with me and I will see you soon. Don’t worry na, I’ll be okay. Pure Energy uli. God bless.”
