NAIS umano ni Dr. Luke na sabihin ni Lady Gaga sa harap ng korte ang kanyang nalalaman hinggil sa kasong isinampa ni Kesha laban sa producer matapos itong magsumite ng subpoena.

Ayon sa mga ulat, binigyan umano ng subpoena ng mga abogado ng producer si Lady Gaga nitong Biyernes upang magbigay ng petsa kung kailan niya maaaring isalaysay sa korte ang defamation case na isinampa ni Luke laban sa mang-aawit ng Tik Tok.

“In connection with Dr. Luke’s defamation claims against Kesha, various third parties are being deposed by both sides, including celebrities,” sabi ng abogado ni Luke batay sa pahayag nito sa ET na “Dr. Luke’s counsel served a subpoena on Lady Gaga because she has relevant information regarding, among other things, false statements about Dr. Luke made to her by Kesha. This motion has become necessary because Dr. Luke’s counsel has not been able to obtain, despite repeated request, a deposition date from Lady Gaga.”

Sumagot umano ang kampo ni Gaga sa pahayag na lumabas sa Billboard ng: “As Lady Gaga’s legal team will present to the court, she has provided all of the relevant information in her possession and is at most an ancillary witness in this process. Dr. Luke’s team is attempting to manipulate the truth and draw press attention to their case by exaggerating Lady Gaga’s role and falsely accusing her of dodging reasonable requests.”

Pebrero 6 noong nakaraang taon, sa pagitan ng mga imbitasyon sa korte at kaso kay Kesha, naglabas ng pahayag si Lady Gaga sa social media bilang pagsuporta sa mang-aawit. “The very reason women don’t speak up for years is the fear that no one will believe them or their abuser has threatened their life or life of loved ones/livelihood in order to keep their victim quiet and under control,” ayon sa post ni Gaga.

“What happened to Kesha has happened to many female artists, including myself, and it will affect her for the rest of her life,” dagdag pa niya.

Noong 2014, nagsampa rin ng kaso si Kesha laban kay Dr. Luke na diumano’y naglagay ng pampatulog sa kanyang inumin, ginahasa at inabuso siya. Bagamat binawi ni Kesha ang kaso laban sa producer noong Agosto sa California, patuloy pa rin ang kasong isinampa niya sa New York, ayon sa legal councel ng singer-song writer.

Galit na itinanggi ni Dr. Luke ang mga akusasyon laban sa kanya at kinasuhan din si Kesha ng defamation and breach of contract. “I didn’t rape Kesha and I never had sex with her,” saad niya sa Twitter noong nakaraang taon.
