“Please be informed that the DepEd Website (www.deped.gov.ph) is currently unavailable due to cyberattacks from outside the Philippines,” pahayag ng DepEd nitong Biyernes. Sinabi ng DepEd na ang Globe Telecoms, ang Internet service provider nito, “has notified us of said attacks and are currently resolving the issue.”
Sa kabila ng pag-atake, siniguro ng DepEd na “all other DepEd information systems” gaya ng Learners Information System (LIS), Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS), Enterprise Human Resource Information System (EHRIS), Program Management Information System (PMIS), Learning Resources Management and Development System (LRMDS) at iba pa, “are unaffected by the cyberattacks and are fully operational.”
“After being down for a short period of time yesterday, the Department of Education website (www.deped.gov.ph) is now back online,” pahayag ng DepEd sa kanilang Facebook page.
