ROME (AP) — Sinabi ni Premier Matteo Renzi na magbibitiw na siya sa puwesto matapos ibasura ng mga Italian ang kanyang mga reporma sa referendum.
“I lost, and the post that gets eliminated is mine,” sabi ni Renzi nitong Lunes ng umaga halos isang oras matapos magsara ang botohan. “The government’s experience is over, and in the afternoon I’ll go to the Quirinal Hill to hand in my resignation” kay President Sergio Mattarella.
