Nakaalalay lagi si Direk Paul sa asawa mula sa pagli-labor hanggang sa makapanganak. Ani Paul, noong una niyang marinig ang iyak ng kanilang baby, “It was the best crying sound ever.”
Kuwento pa ng bagong daddy, “Toni wanted a normal delivery and she fought for it. She fought for it. I mean 38 hours of labor and about almost three hours of pushing. There was even times there she was kind of passing out na. When she’s fully dilated already, the head was coming out. The last few pushes was really tougher,” aniya.

Tungkol sa napili niyang pangalanan ni Baby Seve... “Toni trusted me with that. I chose the name Severiano because my favorite golfer is Severiano Ballesteros, a Spanish golfer. And then Elliot is from E.T., from the lead character in E.T., my favorite movie. The reason why I like films.”
Tinanong si Direk Paul kung kanino mas hawig ang kanilang anak.
“From the grandparents they say me as a baby. So Toni’s happy. She’s breastfed about three times already today, and it seems to be pretty easy. He latched on quite easily.”
Nakatakdang umuwi sa kanilang bahay ang mag-asawa sa Global City with their newborn ngayong araw, Linggo.
