PAGKATAPOS maglabas ng official statement ang RX 91.3 na pinaglilingkuran ni DJ Karen Bordador, naglabas naman ng statement ang pamilya ng dalaga. Naririto ang kanilang pahayag:

“We, the Bordador family, are one with the public in condemning the usage and possession of illegal substances.

But, we find it very painful and hurtful to face the harsh words, cursing and criticism made by insensitive individuals who do not even have a personal connection with Karen and our family.

Karen has always been a kind-hearted, caring, thoughtful, generous and loving person. She would be the last person to engage in activities that might bring harm to others.

For those of you who really know Karen and our family personally, please share how Karen and we, as a family, have engaged in activities for the betterment of the community. Please help us encourage Karen by acknowledging the good things that she has done.

We beg for your kindness and your good heart in putting an end to the criticisms that have unfairly painted a negative picture of our gracious daughter and caring sister, Karen.

We pray to God for Divine Protection, Justice and Truth during this very trying time. Lahat tayo’y haharap din sa tunay na hustisya na galing sa Panginoon.
