Nasasabihan tuloy na hindi raw siya deserving maging boyfriend ni Nadine Lustre na kilalang homebody at lagi na lang iniiwan ng aktor.
“I do love to party and I’ve had a long party streak,” simulang paliwanag ni James kay Kuya Boy. “I get where the bad boy thing comes from, but maybe Nadine is just what I need. Can you hate me for wanting something that’s good?”

Samantala, kinakawawa raw ng JaDine fans ang ex-girlfriend ni James na si Erica Villongco kaya humingi ng tulong kay Nadine para sabihan ang fans nila.
“She actually approached Nadine because they still talk,” pag-amin ni James. “So, she was asking for help from Nadine. And Nadine, she did, she tweeted to the fans, she appealed to the bashers to stop the hate and stop bashing.”
Hindi naman siya nagpapaapekto kapag siya ang napagbabalingan ng bashers.
“There’s not much you can do about it. For me, when it comes to bashers, I don’t even give a second thought to it.
It doesn’t really get to me. I mean, because I really can’t please everyone, nothing I say can... what I was saying can be the tastiest peach in the world and there’ll be someone who hates peaches.”
