“I can’t speak on (the negotiations),” pag-amin ni Watson. “All I can say is when it’s right (Floyd’s) going to sign it. It’s a big fight. Right now there is a lot of talk and they are working on it. If it was (already) done the whole world would know about it. It wouldn’t be a secret.”

“I believe the fight will happen. It’s close. Like I said, Manny called me and said he wants the fight. Floyd told me he wants the fight. They are just waiting to get all the business down. They will get it down. Once they get that how they want it, I believe in my heart and soul - I’m not speaking for Floyd - but I believe there will be a fight,” dagdag ni Watson.

“Personally I’ve been involved in these negotiations continuously since the very first in 2009,” ani Espinoza. “I can say I’m not sure there’s a point where I personally observed him wanting it more than over the last few months.”

“We’re making meaningful progress but if we were running a race we would still have a ways to go. Everyone is trying to get to the finish line as soon as possible,” dagdag ni Espinoza. “We all mutually agreed we’re not going to negotiate in the press. There’s been some misinformation out there and in general all sides realize that the less said publicly the better.”
