ANG Kapuso onscreen couple na sina Tom Rodriguez at Carla Abellana ang mga bagong advocate ng Celebrity Ukay-Ukay ng GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF) na magsisimula ngayong November 14 bilang bahagi ng Noel Bazaar na gaganapin sa World Trade Center.

Sa pagtutulungan ng GMAKF at Cut Unlimited, Inc., nagbabalik ang Celebrity Ukay-Ukay na sinasalihan taun-taon ng Kapuso celebrities na nagdo-donate ng kanilang pre-loved o maging mga bagong kagamitan nila upang maibenta sa bazaar. Ang proceeds ay inilalaan para sa iba’t ibang proyekto ng GMAKF tulad ng Kapuso School Development, Unang Hakbang sa Kinabukasan at Give A Gift Alay sa Batang Pinoy Christmas project.

“It is truly a blessing that the Network and its stars continuously support the Foundation’s endeavors and we are fortunate to have Tom and Carla as this year’s advocates for social change,” sabi ng GMAKF EVP and COO na si Mel Tiangco. “Through our combined efforts, we can truly put smiles on the faces of our beneficiaries this Christmas season.”

Malaking bahagi ng tagumpay ng Celebrity Ukay-Ukay ang mga celebrity at talent ng GMA Network na nagbibigay ng kanilang taos-pusong suporta. Sina Ogie Alcasid at Regine Velasquez-Alcasid ang naging pioneering advocates noong inilunsad ang proyekto noong 2010, ang Kapuso royal couple na sina Marian Rivera at Dingdong Dantes naman ang nanguna sa pagsulong ng proyekto noong 2013.

Ngayong taon, sina Tom at Carla, ang Kapuso love team na nagpakilig sa marami sa pamamagitan ng internationally-acclaimed series My Husband’s Lover at My Destiny, ang nagkaisa sa layuning maghatid ng tulong at serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan.

“I am grateful for this opportunity to give back in a personal way,” ibinahagi ni Carla na nagsimula nang maghanap ng ido-donate sa bazaar. And, not only do these shoppers come home happy with their purchases, they can also feel good that they have contributed to helping those in need,” sabi ni Carla.

Nagbigay na rin si Tom ng kanyang mga personal na gamit na ibebenta sa bazaar.

”With Christmas just around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity for us and our fans to pay it forward,” sabi ng Kapuso leading man. “We not only get to make our fans happy, but we are also helping the Kapuso Foundation bring hope to our less fortunate brothers and sisters.”

Makakasama nina Tom, Carla, ang iba pang Kapuso artists sa opening ng Noel Bazaar sa World Trade Center sa November 14, at ang Tom and Carla’s Celebrity Ukay-Ukay booth ay bukas sa mga sumusunod na petsa: November 14-16, November 21-23, November 28-30, 11:30 AM- 9:00 PM. May celebrity auctions din bawat bazaar weekend.

Ang Noel Bazaar ay tatakbo hanggang November 30, 11:00AM-9:00PM.
