Pinapaharap ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang operator ng pampasaherong bus na nasangkot sa road crash sa Sipocot, Camarines Sur kamakailan.
Sa isang Facebook post ng LTFRB nitong Linggo, Abril 12, sinabi umano ni LTFRB Chairperson Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II na gusto umano nitong malaman kung tumalima ba ang driver ng bus sa road safety protocols.
“We have been consistent in our message to PUV drivers and operators to prioritize road safety because what is involved here is the safety of the passengers who trust their life and limb to them,” saad ni Mendoza.
Dagdag pa niya, “We will not stop in reminding the PUV sector, and we will not stop in running after the violators of the franchise rules and regulations in the interest and welfare of the passengers and all road users.”
Kaya naman sa show cause order na inisyu ng LTFRB, pinasusumite nila ang driver ng bus road worthiness test at inspection report ng sasakyan gayundin ng drug test at proficiency test.

Samantala, bibigyan naman ng limang araw ang operator ng bus para maglatag ng paliwang kung bakit hindi dapat sila maparusahan sa nangyaring banggaan.
