Nagbigay ng isang bilin si Bar Chairperson at Associate Justice Amy Javier-Lazaro sa mga bagong abogadong nagsipagpasa sa 2025 Bar Examinations.
Sa isinagawang Oath Taking and Roll Signing Ceremonies ng 2025 Bar Examinations passers nitong Biyernes, Pebrero 6 sa Philippine Arena, sinabi niyang piliin ng mga bagong abogado na maging mabubuting tao.
“Iisa lang ang bilin na gusto kong dalhin ninyo. Bago ang lahat, piliin ninyong maging mabubuting tao,” saad ni Lazaro.
Giit pa niya, “For only good persons can make good lawyers.”
Ayon pa sa tinaguriang “Bar Mom,” dapat daw na iwaksi sa isipan ng bawat isa na ang pagiging abogado ay isang espesyal na titulo.
“So, if you want to be good lawyers, let us always choose to be good; let us always be good. We must reject the idea that our newly acquired title has made us special. Lawyers are not special,” aniya.
“Matuto tayong lumingon sa ating pinanggalingan. Waves of change are sure to come soon, as we assume the responsibilities of full-pledged lawyers,” dagdag pa niya.
Matatandaang kamakailan, tumatak ang naging mensahe ni Lazaro sa mga hindi pinalad na maipasa ang naturang pagsusulit.
“For my bar babies, whose names do not appear on the list, my heart goes to you. I know what it is like to give it your all and still not succeed. There is nothing shameful about failing. Do not allow yourself to believe otherwise. So when I tell you that this setback is not the end of the world, you have to believe me,” ani Lazaro.

Samantala, pumalo naman sa 48.98% ang passing rate ng 2025 Bar Examinations, matapos pumasa sa nasabing pagsusulit ang 5,594 examinees, ayon sa ulat ng Supreme Court of the Philippines.
