Pinasaringan at nagbabala si Senate President Pro Tempore at Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Chairman Panfilo “Ping” Lacson sa umano’y mga tinawag niyang skeptics, detractors, at hijackers na nananamantala sa galit ng mga Pilipino kaugnay sa imbestigasyon nila sa maanomalyang flood control projects.
Ayon sa naging pahayag ni Lacson sa simula ng kanilang pagdinig sa Senate Blue Ribbon Committee nitong Lunes, Enero 19, sinabi niyang hindi raw makakatulong ang ingay ng ilang indibidwal sa pag-iimbestiga ng nasabing Komisyon sa flood control mess.
“Let this serve as a warning to skeptics, detractors, and hijackers who exploit the vulnerabilities and anger of our people to deepen the fault lines of our nation during these trying times,” pagsisimula niya.
Dagdag pa niya, “Your noise will not silence the truth neither does it provide any help in our investigation. Your noise cannot convict and won’t even indict the manufacturer in this flood control mess. Only evidence does.”

Ani Lacson, pagiging insensitibo raw ang pangangalandakan ng ilang mga indibidwal na isang inutil at walang silbi ang SBRC at insulto sa mga Pilipinong nakasubaybay sa pag-iimbestiga nila sa nasabing anomalya.
“Para ipangalandakan ninyo na inutil at walang silbi ang Blue Ribbon Committee is not only insensitive to its members but an insult to our fellow Filipinos who have consistently followed and monitored our hearings,” aniya.
Diin pa niya, “And participated in the Trillion Peso March. The clergy, students, ordinary workers, and all concerned citizens who became aware and exposed to unbridled and systemic corruption mainly made possible by the Blue Ribbon Committee hearings.”
Binigyang halaga rin ni Lacson ang naging papel ng media sa paglalapit ng mga nangyari sa bawat pagdinig ng SBRC sa imbestigasyon nila sa maanomalyang flood control projects.
“And the media who serves as a powerful tool in bringing to the households, eateries, barbershops, etc., the details of each and every hearing of the Blue Ribbon Committee,” saad niya.
Matapos nito, walang pagpipigil na minura ni Lacson ang mga hindi niya pinangalanang indibidwal o grupo na tumigil na umano sa pag-iingay tungkol sa kaniyang imbestigasyon.
“With all that said, as a Chairman of the Blue Ribbon Committee, I say to you, shut the “F” up,” pasaring at pagtatapos ng senador.
Kaugnay ito ng muling pagbubukas ng SBRC sa kanilang pagdinig sa imbestigasyon ng maanomalyang flood control projects sa ahensya ng Department of Public Works and Highways nitong Lunes, Enero 19, 2026.
