Nagkomento si Mamamayang Liberal Party-list Rep. Atty.
“They really are coming towards the end—lahat ng kailangang imbestigahan, naimbestigahan na nila. Maybe there are one or two other loose ends that they have to clear up," saad ng Pangulo sa pagpunta niya sa Aglipay Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) sa Mandaluyong City nitong Biyernes, Enero 16.

“We already anticipated this given the recent developments in the ICI,” panimula ni De Lima.
Tambak pa ang trabaho pero ang tingin nya, the ICI is ‘really coming toward the end?’“
"Under the sunset clause of EO 94 (Sec. 10), the ICI ‘shall be rendered functus officio upon the accomplishment of the purposes for which it was created, or unless sooner dissolved by the President.’ Kung ganito kaaga pa lang naiisip nang buwagin ang ICI, dapat hindi na nilagay yung ‘upon the accomplishment of the purposes for which it was created’; kundi kung kelan lang gusto ito isara ng Pangulo. Magmumukhang ginawang pang-intermission number lang ang ICI, kung saan exception is the general rule pa sa pag-livestream,” pagpapaliwanag pa niya.
Anang mambabatas, nasa flood control projects pa lamang daw ang naiimbestigahan ng ICI—marami pa raw umano’y maanomalyang mga proyekto na dapat ding suriin at pag-aralan.
“Mr. President, at this point, the ICI’s fate does not depend on how much work remains, but on how serious your commitment is to holding accountable all those involved in this massive corruption in the country, especially the biggest culprit/s,” aniya.
“The next step, which should have been done earlier, is to pass the ICAIC/IPC Law creating a more empowered, more transparent and more independent commission.
