Humiling ang kampo ni dating Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) District Engineer Henry Alcantara sa Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) na “ma-reverse, set aside, at nullify” nito ang revocation ng kaniyang professional license bilang civil engineer. 

Mula ito sa ipinadalang motion for reconsideration ng kampo ni Alcantara noong Enero 12, 2026, at natanggap ng PRC noong Miyerkules, Enero 14, 2026. 

Ayon sa mga dahilang inilatag ng kampo ni Alcantara, dapat daw ikonsidera ng PRC ang mga nalikom nilang ebidensya mula sa partisipasyon ni Alcantara sa Senate Blue Ribbon Committee. 

“Instead, the merits of Respondent Alcantara's Counter Affidavit/ Verified Answer and Comment with Manifestation should be considered, to avoid miscarriage of justice,” anila.

Dagdag pa nila, “This Honorable Office should have delved deeper and made inquiries, gather evidence from the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee to determine the extent or gravity of Respondent Alcantara's participation.” 

Idiniin din nilang hindi raw nagsimula o nagmula sa inisyatibo ni Alcantara ang umano’y insertion ng budget para sa mga proyekto noon sa flood control projects. 

“It is of public knowledge that these so called funds intended for insertions of projects from politicians did not originate from the Office of Respondent Alcantara, nor upon his initiative,” saad nila. 

“Transactional flow of these projects emanated from DPWH Central Office - the one in control of funds and supervision of how these funds are utilized,” paglilinaw pa nila. 

Paliwanag pa nila, “To charge Respondent Alcantara and imposed the ultimate sanction of revoked license given the unquestionable narrative that has been circulating in the media and in all forums is not justified.” 

Dahil umano sa mga ito, humiling ang kampo ni Alcantara ma-reverse at set aside ang revocation ng kaniyang lisensya. 

“It is in this light that Respondent Alcantara seeks reconsideration, recalibrate its findings and respectfully reverse and set aside the order of revocation of his professional license,” giit nila 

“[I]it is respectfully prayed of this Honorable Office to REVERSE, SET ASIDE and NULLIFY the revocation of Respondent Henry C. Alcantara's professional license as civil engineer for the reasons stated,” pagtatapos pa nila.
