Umapela sa publiko si Cavite 4th District Rep. Kiko Barzaga kaugnay sa umano’y kuwestiyonableng pagpanaw ni Dueñas, Iloilo Vice Mayor Aimee Lamasan.
Ayon sa inupload na video statement ni Barzaga sa kaniyang Facebook account noong Biyernes, Enero 2, sinabi niyang maraming katanungan ang naturang insidenteng pagbaril ni Lamasan sa kaniyang sarili.
“The Vice Mayor from Iloilo has passed away from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, though plenty of questions emerge from this incident,” pagsisimula niya.
Dagdag pa niya, “The province of Iloilo is home to many notable figures in the Flood Control Corruption Scandal.”

Nakaladkad din ni Barzaga ang pangalan nina Mainly Senior Deputy Majority Leader Lorenz Defensor, Congresswoman Janette Garin, at anak nitong si Board Member Rica Jane Garin.
“Mainly Senior Deputy Majority Leader Lorenz Defensor and Congresswoman Garin—the ‘Dengvaxia Queen’ who rules her district alongside her daughter, Board Member Rica Jane Garin, the ‘Dengvaxia Princess’ who are being investigated from the involvement in the massive corruption our country,” pagdidiin niya.
Anang congressman, kahina-hinala raw ang “timing” ng pagkamatay ni Lamasan at dapat na magsagawa ng imbestigasyon dito dahil na rin sa mga nalalaman ng nasabing Vice Mayor sa maanomalyang flood control projects sa probinsya ng Iloilo.
“The timing ang the nature of Vice Mayor Lamasan’ death is too suspicious, and an investigation must be made to determine whether her death was caused by her knowledge of the Flood Control anomalies in the province of Iloilo,” pagtatapos pa niya.
Matatandaang pumanaw na si Lamasan kasunod ng isinagawang operasyon sa kaniya nang aksidente umano niyang nabaril ang sarili noong Disyembre 30, 2025.
