Hindi napigilang magkomento ni Akbayan Party-list Rep. Perci Cendaña matapos ang napaulat na pagbaba sa puwesto ni Rossana Fajardo bilang isa sa mga commissioner ng Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI).

“It has been a profound honor to serve alongside individuals who are deeply committed to transparency and accountability, dedicating themselves selflessly to the Filipino people. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a collective mission that prioritizes the welfare of our citizens,” saad ni Fajardo sa isinumite niyang resignation letter sa ICI nitong Biyernes, Disyembre 26.

Sa ibinahaging social media post ni Rep. Cendaña nitong Biyernes, Disyembre 26, mababasang tahasan niyang sinabi na bibingo na raw ang ICI kasunod ang pagre-resign ng naturang commissioner.

“Bat imbis na ulo ng mga korap, puro resignations ang binibigay sa atin ng ICI? 2 out of 3 down! Bibingo na ang ICI!” saad ni Cendaña sa kaniyang post.

Dulot nito, ipinanawagan tuloy ng mambabatas ang pagpapasa ng Independent Commission Against Infrastructure Corruption (ICAIC).

“The fact that both Comm. Fajardo and Sec. Babes Singson resigned while supporting the ICAIC Bill is testament to a commission flawed at its core. #PassICAICBill,” aniya.

Bago ang pagbaba ni Fajardo, matatandaang nauna nang nag-resign si dating Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) chief at ex-ICI commissioner Rogelio “Babes” Singson sa kaniyang puwesto, dahil umano sa “very intense” at “stressful ICI work.”
