Naglabas ng pahayag si Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte kaugnay sa umano’y biglang disappearing acts at selective accountability sa mga imbestigasyon ng gobyerno.
Sa latest Facebook post ni Pulong nitong Martes, Disyembre 9, sinabi niya ang tila hindi patas na pagsisiyasat sa tuwing nadadawit ang pamilya niya sa isyu ng korupsiyon kumpara sa mga kaibigan, kamag-anak, at congressional minion ng pangulo.
“Every time the Duterte name is dragged into an issue, investigations suddenly become urgent, loud, and relentless. But the moment the trail leads to the President’s own cousin, his own child, and their congressional minions—the entire process magically collapses,” saad ni Duterte.
Kaya naman kinuwestiyon ng kongresista ang imbestigasyong ito ng pamahalaan na tila may kinikilingan.

Aniya, “Why is it that some officials get charged immediately, while others—especially those connected to the Palace—get a clean pass? Why is it that allies get washed clean, while critics get dragged through every possible hearing?”
“Call it what you want, but the public already has a word for it: Hugas-kamay. Protect your own. Sweep everything under the rug,” dugtong pa ni Duterte.
Sa huli, nanawagan siya sa mga kapuwa niya nasa kapangyarihan.
“If you truly want accountability, then apply it to ALL—including your friends, relatives, and political minions who think they are above scrutiny,” anang kongresista.
