Nagbigay ng pahayag si Executive Secretary Ralph Recto hinggil sa legislative orders na ibinaba ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa Senado at Kamara.
Sa ibinahaging pahayag ni Recto sa media nitong Martes, Disyembre 9, sinabi niyang dapat na maipaabot sa lahat ng political groups ang imbitasyon sa pagbuo ng naturang priority measures.
“The presidential request for congressional action on the four bills goes beyond their immediate passage, but for wide consultation with all sectors, so the best ideas can be incorporated in this reform legislation,” panimula ni Recto.
“Given the importance and urgency of these bills, the invitation to participate in their crafting should be extended to groups of all political persuasions,” dagdag pa niya.
Ayon pa sa executive secretary, ang malawakang konsultasyon hinggil dito ay makabubuo ng mas maayos na batas para sa interes ng mga Pilipino.
“Broad consultations result in better laws. It is only by canvassing views and opinions from as many sources as possible is the nation guaranteed of a law that reflects their interest,” aniya pa.
Matatandaang nagbahagi rin ng reaksiyon si Mamamayang Liberal Partylist Rep. Atty. Leila de Lima hinggil sa priority measures na ibinaba ng Pangulo. Aniya, sila ay dismayado na hindi man lang ito “certified as urgent.”
“While we welcome the pronouncement from President Marcos Jr. about certain measures that he thinks Congress should prioritize, we remain disappointed that the proposed IPC/ICAIC Bill and Anti-Political Dynasty Bill were NOT certified as urgent,” saad ni De Lima sa kaniyang social media post nitong Martes, Disyembre 9.
