Nagpaabot ng pagkilala at pagpapasalamat ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. matapos ang ipatutupad nitong taas-sahod para sa mga military and uniformed personnel (MUP) ng bansa.
“The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) welcomes the signing of Executive Order No. 107, s. 2025 by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., which updates the base pay and raises the subsistence allowance of our military and uniformed personnel from the PNP, PCG, BFP, and BJMP,” saad ng DILG sa isang social media post nitong Biyernes, Disyembre 5.
“We thank the President for recognizing the work and sacrifice of the men and women who protect our communities and uphold peace and order. By upgrading their compensation, the government acknowledges the vital role they play in national security, law enforcement, and disaster response,” dagdag pa nila.
Ayon pa sa kagawaran, ang hakbang na ito ay patatatagin daw ang “capacity” at “stability” ng MUP, upang siguruhin ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa.
“The DILG affirms that this move strengthens the capability and stability of the uniformed services, ensuring that those who safeguard our families can also support their own. This measure allows them to carry out their duties with reinforced focus, dignity, and confidence as they serve the nation,” pagtatapos nito.
Matatandaang nagpasalamat din ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP) sa naturang inisyatibo ni PBBM.
