Ipinanawagan ni Miss International 2005 Lara Quigaman ang pagsuporta sa pambato ng Pilipinas na si Miss International Philippines 2025 Myrna Esguerra sa gaganaping Miss International coronation night ngayong Huwebes, Nobyembre 27 sa Tokyo, Japan.
Sa ibinahaging social media post ni Lara noong Miyerkules, Nobyembre 26, sinabi niyang isang inspirasyon ang kuwento ni Myrna, kung saan nagsumikap ito upang maabot niya ang kaniyang mga naisin sa buhay.
“Myrna’s story is such an inspiration — one of 17 siblings, there were times they barely had anything to eat. She put herself through school, worked for every opportunity, and never stopped pushing forward. Nothing was handed to her; she earned every step… which reminds me so much of my own journey,” saad ni Lara.
Binalikan din ni Lara ang kaniyang mga pinagdaanan bago maabot ang Miss International 2005 title, dalawang dekada na ang nakalipas.
“Twenty years ago, I walked onto the Miss International stage with no money, no connections, no PR team — just hard work, faith, and the belief that when a pageant is fair, everyone truly has a chance. I had the quiet support of my friends, my family, and Bb. Pilipinas, and in Miss International — an organization that let’s women compete on equal ground — merit and character were enough. No politics, no noise… just a crown that had to be earned,” pagbabahagi niya.
Ayon pa sa kaniya, ipagdasal daw at maniwalang masusungkit ni Myrna ang ikapitong korona ng bansa sa Miss International competition.
“As she competes for Miss International, let’s cheer her on, pray for her, and believe with her as she fights to bring home our 7th Miss International crown. And let’s turn our eyes toward pageants and organizations we can truly stand behind — the ones worth supporting and celebrating for their integrity and real empowerment,” aniya.
“God bless you, Myrna! Let your beauty shine with truth, kindness, and grace. We’re behind you all the way!” pagtatapos niya.
Matatandaang inilahad ni ng pambato ng bansa na si Myrna Esguerra na proud umano siyang ipakita sa buong mundo ang kultura at tradisyon ng Pilipinas sa Miss International stage.
“I saw that the Philippines don’t only have beautiful natural resources, and I’m so proud to be representing my country and to bring the culture and tradition of the Philippines here in Miss International, and to share it with the whole world,” saad ni Myrna.
