Ipinamalas ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang kaniyang pisikal na lakas matapos subukang buhatin ang isang barbell sa bagong renovate na PhilSports Complex sa Pasig City.
Sa ibinahaging post ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) nitong Miyerkules, Nobyembre 19, makikita sa isang larawan ang pagsubok ni PBBM na buhatin ang nasabing barbell.

Ayon kay PBBM, pinagtitibay ng kaniyang administrasyon ang commitment ng bansa sa larangan ng isports.
“Sports teaches us so many things to build our values and character. We want to make sure our athletes have everything they need,” ani PBBM.
Kasama ni PBBM sa PhilSports Complex ang asawang si First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos at ang PSC Sports Ambassador at Presidential Son na si Vinny Marcos.
Present naman sa ribbon-cutting ang ilang opisyal ng pamahalaan tulad nina Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla, Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sonny Angara, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) Chairman Alejandro Tengco, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Mel Robles, Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Dave Gomez, at House Youth and Sports Committee Chairman Cong. Mike Dy.
Kasama rin nila sina Philippine Olympic Committee President Bambol Tolentino at Philippine Paralympic Committee President Mike Barredo.
Nagpaabot naman ng pasasalamat si PSC Chairman Patrick Gregorio sa First family, sa mga ahensya ng gobyerno, pati na rin sa mga pribadong sektor na sumuporta sa PSC upang isagawa ang inisyatibong ito.
Kasabay ng muling pagbubukas ng pasilidad na ito ang inagurasyon ng National Athletic Center at ng National Sports Museum.
