Hindi na napigilan ni Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Sandro Marcos na magsalita kaugnay sa paratang ng kaniyang tita na si Senador Imee Marcos na drug addict diumano ang kaniyang ama na si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos Jr.
"I have always acknowledge and respected the role my Tita, Senator Imee Marcos, played in the early part of my public life. That respect remains which is why this will be the first and last time I will be speaking on this," saad ng batang Marcos sa isang pahayag nitong Martes, Nobyembre 18.
"It pains me to see how low she has gone to the point that she resorts to a web of lies aimed at destabilizing this government to advance her own political ambitions. To further repeat an accusation against President Bongbong Marcos and the First Lady (and for the first time ever myself) that is not only false, but dangerously irresponsible," dagdag pa ni Sandro.
Iginiit din ng mambabatas na walang kaototohanan ang mga ipinahayag ng senadora at ito raw ay puwedeng patunayan ng kaniyang mga pinsan—mga anak ni Sen. Imee.

"Sa lahat po ng binanggit ni senadora, walang basehan, walang katotohanan, at walang magandang idudulot sa bayan," ani Sandro.
Dagdag pa niya, "My cousins Borgy, Vice Gov. Matthew, and Atty. Michael can attest that these allegations that were insinuated against me are false."
"We always agreed that whatever happened between our parents, we wouldn't let ourselves be dragged in. That is why nakakalungkot makita na ginagawa niya ito. For her to betray her own family brings a lot of pain to me as a consequences of my respect to her for giving me my start in public life," pahayag pa ng anak ni PBBM.
"Now is the time to unite behind truth, not to amplify narratives meant to topple the government. Panahon ngayon para magtulungan, hindi para magpalaganap ng gulo at destabilisasyon.
"HINDI ITO ASAL NG ISANG TUNAY NA KAPATID," pagtatapos pa ni Sandro.
Matatandaang tahasang sinabi ni Sen. Imee sa kilos-protesta ng Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) noong Lunes, Nobyembre 17, na gumagamit diumano ng droga ang pangulo.
“Batid ko na nagda-drugs siya,” walang pag-aalinlangang pahayag ng Senador.
Bukod dito, nabanggit din ni Sen. Imee ang misis ni PBBM na si First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.
Aniya, mas lumala diumano ang pagkalulong ng kaniyang kapatid.

Samantala sa isang livestream ni Palace Press Officer and Usec. Claire Castro noong Lunes ng gabi, tahasan niyang sinabi na "desperadong galawan" ni Sen. Imee laban sa sarili nitong kapatid ang naging pahayag niya.
