“Through its Threat Monitoring Center (TMC) and in partnership with Digital Pinoys, the CICC has verified unlicensed gambling websites operating without authorization from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR),” anang CICC.
“Digital Pinoys first brought these violations to the attention of the CICC, documenting URLs and influencer promotions that have since been validated and acted upon by the agency. Many of these platforms were found using Filipino influencers to draw in players, including minors, through livestreams, referral links, and online challenges,” paliwanag pa nila.

Maaari umanong maharap sa mga posibleng kaso na Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (RA 10175), Presidential Decree No. 1602 (Prescribing Stiffer Penalties on Illegal Gambling), at Article 315 of the Revised Penal Code on Estafa ang mga nabanggit na indibidwal.
“These laws penalize not only the operators but also individuals who knowingly promote or enable illegal gambling online,” saad ng CICC.
“Several of the influencers listed above do not have publicly available email addresses or contact information on their Facebook profiles, despite the TMC's efforts to gather their contact details, such information could not be obtained without further proper investigation and coordination with the said influencers,” anila.
“Furthermore, the account associated with Whamos has been taken down, suggesting either voluntary removal by the user or action taken by the platform in response to policy violations,” pagtatapos pa nila.
