Nagpasalamat ang probinsya ng Cebu sa tulong na ibinahagi ng Davao City Local Government Unit (LGU) bunsod ng sunod-sunod na sakuna at kalamidad na naranasan ng kanilang lalawigan.

Kaugnay ito sa isinagawang “send-off ceremony” ng 16 truckloads na ipinadala ng Davao City LGU sa Cebu noong Miyerkules, Nobyembre 12, bitbit ang ilang esensyal na kagamitang lubos na kailangan ng mga residenteng naapektuhan ng bagyo at lindol.

Sa ibinahaging Facebook post ng Cebu Province nitong Huwebes, Nobyembre 13, nagpapasalamat ang lalawigan sa ₱1 milyong donasyon mula sa Davao City LGU, na personal na inihatid ni Retired Police Lt. Col. Alfredo D. Baloran, puno ng Davao Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).

Ayon pa sa post, ang Capitol Emergency Operations Center manager na si Atty. Resti Arnaiz ang tumanggap ng donasyon, bilang representative ng Cebu Provincial Government.

Sa hiwalay naman na post, nagpasalamat din si Cebu Governor Pam Baricuatro sa tulong na hatid ng mga Dabawenyos sa kanilang lalawigan.

“Daghang salamat to the people of Davao for the ₱1M donation to the victims of Tino in the Province of Cebu, and to Cong. Pulong Duterte for always supporting Cebu. Daghang salamat usab to VP Inday Sara Duterte for visiting the victims of Tino here in Cebu and for extending aid to those in need,” saad ni Baricuatro.

Matatandaang kamakailan, pinanawagan ni Gov. Baricuatro kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang imbestigasyon hinggil sa naganap na pagbaha sa kanilang lokalidad.

“Mr. President, what happened here must not be dismissed as mere fate or force of nature. It demands truth, accountability, and action,” aniya.
