“It is with profound love and gratitude that my father, Juan Ponce Enrile, peacefully returned to his Creator on November 13, 2025, at 4:21 p.m., surrounded by our family in the comfort of our home,” saad ni Katrina sa kaniyang Facebook post.

“I hope I will reach 110, but you know, in life, you cannot control the number of your years. The control belongs to God.”

“I am fortunate to have received from my Creator a longer time here on earth. That's longevity, not immortality.”

“I was never confident in anything. I just do the best I can and I pray. If I don’t win, I'll go to my province and spend my time in my beach house there.”

“What really matters in the game among nations is national strength and military capability to maintain national security, to preserve the integrity of the national territory, to protect and promote national interest, and to uphold national sovereignty and honor of the nation. Nothing less and nothing more.”

“I have high respect for the Chief Justice, for the institution he represents. But I equally demand respect for the institution that I represent. I am not going to allow any slight, any abuse of authority against this court for as long as I am the presiding officer.”

“Mr. President, I hope you're listening. Enough is enough, Mr. President. Your time is up. Do not miscalculate our strength now.”

“To discharge my duties and responsibilities with honor, with total devotion to our institution, and with fairness to all members. No partisan consideration will blur or color the treatment of any member of the Senate. We are all Senators elected by the people to serve them with dedication to their interest and well-being and devotion to our responsibilities.”

"I went to war during the war, I participated in the drama that we have had in this chamber, I have been jailed several times, but I survived and that's why I'm here today. That is the essence of our struggle. To make this country exist not for ourselves, not for anyone but for our families and for our descendants."

"I would like to let you know that if there is anything that I can do for you, for each and everyone of you, just call me and I will give you my two cents advice."
